Two Books Your Child May Have to Read

...before his highness speaks on September 8th, 2009.

Re-post from Wake Up America!

From P.U.M.A:

The first book is aptly titled: Barack Obama: Son of Promise, Child of Hope

"One sun-drenched day, as his wife Michelle stood by, Barack smiled on a sea of faces from Wichita to Waikiki. He saw whites and blacks, rich and poor, Christians and Muslims and Jews; he saw the ghosts of his parents, of Gramps and Toot, of Martin Luther King, Jr. and JFK. And on that special day Barack was the bridge that held them all together. “I want to be your president,” he said. “Can we make America better? Can we work together, as one?” With a single voice the crowd called out, “Yes! We can!”

Simply titled “Barack”:

"He arrived here during a dark time in American history. All across America, people were losing their jobs, losing their houses, losing their sense of hope. Many people were tired of a war that had gone on too long. They were tired of fighting with their neighbors over politics. They were just tired."

I've seen both of these books in Toys R' Us & Target and have resisted the urge to pick them up and read the contents. P.U.M.A. includes more excerpts from these books that I found to be quite disturbing. The authors are writing history before it's over. They're painting a beautiful, flowery, puppies and kitties picture of a savior.

Why do I find the contents of these books disturbing? Not only because they are aimed for our kids, but because these books tell a story about a soon-to-be-president who built his campaign on unity. A man who is supposed to be a "bridge" uniting blacks & whites, Democrats & Republicans, cats & dogs, a man who preaches tolerance and tells us to be open minded.

What??

As of today, America is more divided than ever. The crap just keeps spewing from the far-left and it's like they're daring eachother to see who can be the most outrageous, pulling the blinders down over America's eyes before she cries uncle.

"A man who is supposed to be a "bridge" uniting blacks & whites?" Never before in my lifetime have I witnessed any administration that intentionally created so much intense racial division. ~ Sally
