Macon County Patriots Statement on Arizona Tragedy

Macon County Patriots express their most sincere sadness at the senseless tragedy in Arizona yesterday.

To the families friends and neighbors of the victims who were fatally injured in the Arizona atrocity of January 8th, we the members of the Macon County Patriots add our heartfelt condolences and prayers to those of our fellow Americans all across this country. We also pray for the healing of the physical, emotional and spiritual injuries of the surviving victims, their families, the Tucson community and the citizens of the state of Arizona.

Furthermore, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this despicable act of violence and the perpetrator(s) thereof.

Father: You know the pain of seeing your innocent and beloved Son die in an act of unspeakable violence. You know how we feel. And not only can you empathize with us in our pain and loss, you also have the power to heal our wounds. In the aftermath of this terrible act we turn to you, the One True God and Healer, and with broken and contrite hearts we beseech you to raise up from the ashes of this tragedy the peace, comfort and healing that You alone can offer.
In the name of Jesus Christ,  Amen
