He who says to the wicked, “You are righteous,” him the people will curse; nations will abhor him. But those who rebuke the wicked will delight, and a good blessing will come upon them.
Founding Father Quote:
“A share in the sovereignty of the state, which is exercised by the citizens at large, in voting at elections is one of the most important rights of the subject, and in a republic ought to stand foremost in the estimation of the law.”
Heavenly Father, thank You for the awesome privilege of participating in the governance of this great nation. Forgive us for taking for granted our freedom to vote, thus neglecting our Christian duty to influence America in the direction of righteousness. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. May the righteous be bold and take a stand, steering this country in a direction of Light, away from the darkness. May America once again experience the blessings of Almighty God as we turn from our sinful ways. We ask you, Lord, to lead us by Your truth towards our divine destiny as responsible, righteous citizens of the United States of America.
Ultimately it's the Christians responsibility.
